Barstow, CA — In its 6th running, The TJ Craig Memorial Weddle Sweet 16 Shootout is always much anticipated. Historically an autumn event on the Weddle Shootout Series calendar, this year's Sweet 16 Shootout included the added drama of wrapping up the season at the MORE Desert Championships with year end standings on the line.

Eleven Class 1600 teams arrived to do battle for the 2025 Weddle Sweet 16 crown. This year's event consisted of two races over the Dec 6-7 weekend with the winner determined by best combined time.
When the dust settled in Barstow, a brand new Weddle Sweet 16 Champ was crowned. 1686 Daniel Deen emerged as the 2025 Weddle Sweet 16 Champ. 2021 Sweet 16 Champion 1622 Timmy Craig finished second and last year's Sweet 16 Champ 1623 Justin Cockrell took the third spot on the podium.
We would like to send a huge thanks to Cody and Danielle Jeffers and the entire MORE crew for putting together another stellar season. Next year's Weddle Shootout Series is getting an early start. The 2026 Weddle Dirty Dozen, a special event for Class 12 racers, is going down January 17 at the MORE Slash X Duel in the Desert. See you there!
